Tim Jackson runs one of Europe’s top seed venture-capital funds, and coaches founder-CEOs at Series A-D. He has experienced the full range of CEO life (from sole-founder bootstrapping to NASDAQ IPO and a $1.9bn trade sale), and the full range of VC investing, starting with acting as managing director at a $700m tech fund. Tim’s first career was as a journalist with the Economist and FT in Tokyo, Brussels and San Francisco, and he is the author of four business books. He studied philosophy at Oxford, is married to an artist, keeps chickens, grows vegetables and likes collage and string quartets.
